2022 CBFM Farm to Table Dinner, featuring Chef Kate Ladoulis & live music by Rachel Vanslyke

The CBFM hosted our first Farm to Table Dinner at the historic Train Depot on Saturday, August 20th 2022 and the event was a great success!  We are so thankful to everyone that made the evening so special.

Our amazing Chef, Kate Ladoulis, produced a mouth-watering menu absolutely bursting with local meat, cheese, fruits, veggies and beverages.  Thanks to Kate and her crew of one, Alex Beane, for making a delicious and unforgettable meal!

Chef Kate is celebrating her 20th year in the mountains, during which time she owned and operated two restaurants here in Crested Butte. Her flagship Django’s won national praise for its exceptional food, unique wine list and intimate atmosphere and was named one of OpenTable’s Top 100 US Restaurants “Fit for Foodies”. Kate earned an invite to guest chef at the James Beard House in New York City and later joined the JB Foundation’s Celebrity Chef Tour for several events in Colorado.

Local musical favorite, Rachel Vanslyke, performed an acoustic set in her uncompromising and unique style. We also held a silent auction, where attendees bid on items and packages provided by our artisan vendors.

Proceeds from the dinner and auction will go towards supporting existing food security programs in here in the Gunnison Valley, and to the creation of a grant program for our vendors.
